General Overview of the UN-156 eLoran Monitor Receiver
The UN-156 eLoran Monitor Receiver is a next-generation monitoring and measurement platform powered by the latest UrsaNav® UN-151 eLoran Receiver Module. This advanced eLoran receiver supports local and remote signal evaluation to ensure network performance, integrity, and precision timing.
Designed for critical infrastructure, defense systems, and timing networks, the UN-156 enables comprehensive monitoring of eLoran signal quality through key measurements such as Time of Arrival (TOA), Signal Strength (SS), Signal-to-Noise Ratio (SNR), and Envelope Cycle Difference (ECD). It also supports Loran Data Channel (LDC) demodulation, including Eurofix and 9th/10th pulse decoding, with full integrity checks.
With built-in UrsaNav ELEGANT™ software, users benefit from full control, flexible configuration, and remote diagnostics. The receiver is capable of self-monitoring and issuing alarms in the event of equipment faults—ensuring resilient and autonomous operation in mission-critical applications.
