The UN-008 Antenna is a horizontal H-field antenna developed by UrsaNav® for enhanced reception of Loran-C, eLoran, and other Low Frequency (LF) signals. Designed to respond to the magnetic field component of LF transmissions, the UN-008 features dual orthogonal loops that combine to form an omnidirectional reception pattern.
This antenna is ideal for applications requiring superior noise immunity, including aviation, fixed-site installations, and environments subject to precipitation static, power line distortion, or ground plane sensitivity. It also supports azimuth determination to within 1° of true north, making it a powerful tool for navigation and situational awareness.
